Class-leading torque and towing capabilities are provided by a large 4.3-liter displacement with the standard 4.3L EcoTec3 V-6 engine. The Silverado V6 can operate on four cylinders under lighter loads which improves fuel efficiency.
The 2014 Silverado V-6 performance is comparable to the V-8 but with much better fuel economy saving you money at the pump. The V-6 engine runs on regular gasoline.
